to

you reject the possibility that there is a function h, so that

Area=c^2 * h(c,phi)

where h has no dimensions because c in the function is in the form

p1(c) / p2(c)

where p1 and p2 are functions of c that have the same dimensions, so that they cancel out

How can we reject this possibility?
