Poem: Chaos Theory

It’s National Poetry Day today, so if we needed an excuse (which we don’t) to publish a poem, we’d have one.

Chaos Theory

A butterfly flutters its wings,
and perhaps a week later thousands of miles away
a brewing storm loses confidence. Winds
drop to a gentle breeze, and look:
It is a lovely day! The sun shines, the surf
purrs contentedly, and in the shade of a palm tree
a butterfly flutters its wings.

Will you please tell me who the author is? Thanks.

  2. Hey, you work very well with two things we (a collective blog, also) like a lot: mathematics and poetry. Very nice work.
